a prelude to Spring?

I saw a robin outside the cottage today! I'm taking that as a hopeful sign that the warm sunshine, buds, sprouts and fresh blossoms of Spring will soon be coming our way! Until then we're bringing Spring indoors and will eagerly wait . . .

snow, snow, go away . . .

As the second snowstorm begins falling around me, I'm posting this as a little reprieve to all the vast whiteness. And if you, like me, are getting a little tired of all this wintry mix, I hope you find it encouraging, if not a little refreshing. If you are close enough to stop in to the cottage we'd love to see you! Our walkways are cleared (at least for now . . .)
